The audience thought a goal was coming when Jardel Gaspar got free with David Gomes in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. David Gomes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amadeu Soeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 8 played minutes Petim got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Sampaio. ToG FC's Amadeu Soeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amadeu Soeiro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, David Gomes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jardel Gaspar got free with David Gomes in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. David Gomes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ediberto Alcântara in the 21st minute of the match. A collision led to ToG FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Haroldo Matos hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Amadeu Soeiro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving David Gomes. That made the score 1-0 in the 26 minute of play. After 29th play minutes Amadeu Soeiro shot 2-0, a short shot which went by David Gomes and just under the crossbar into goal. 32 minutes into the match, Petim's Naldo Mandrak sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Délio Freitas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 35 played minutes ToG FC got a freekick which was hit by Alexsandro Moraes. In the 36th minute of the match Gilmar Matorin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Délio Freitas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 37th minute Amadeu Soeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Gomes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Jardel Gaspar managed to get in a good position for a shot. ToG FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jardel Gaspar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Gomes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg David Gomes managed to avoid a goal in the 42ndth minute, when ToG FC's Amadeu Soeiro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The audience was convinced that Amadeu Soeiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Gomes was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. When Bruno Sampaio fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Petim's protests and gave Bruno Sampaio a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of ToG FC booed when Petim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Sampaio didn't get a good kick on the ball. David Gomes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amadeu Soeiro's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amadeu Soeiro in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Gomes saved Petim from getting behind. After having played for 66 minutes, Amadeu Soeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ToG FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amadeu Soeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Petim's goalkeeper David Gomes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Amadeu Soeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Petim's Téo Cearense got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 75th minute of the match Zeca Maia sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but David Gomes skillfully saved the ball. Jardel Gaspar took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised David Gomes. David Gomes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amadeu Soeiro in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Gomes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Amadeu Soeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zeca Maia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amadeu Soeiro scored 5-0 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of David Gomes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. David Gomes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amadeu Soeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute, Jardel Gaspar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ToG FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. ToG FC had played much better football throughout.
