After a rather tough play, Tucunzeiro EC's Claudinei Sarmento got a free kick in the 7th minute. Valério Diniz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Angelo Cardoso's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, Geovanni Damião skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Tucunzeiro EC's Cláudio Magalhães in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Angelo Cardoso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Geovanni Damião made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Imbaubas's zone, Angelo Cardoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geovanni Damião came out of the goal and Angelo Cardoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cláudio Magalhães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Richard Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelo Cardoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Geovanni Damião tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 37 played minutes Cláudio Magalhães rounded Imbaubas's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 45 minutes into the match, Doni de Amaral dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Geovanni Damião, 2-0.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cláudio Magalhães in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geovanni Damião prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Angelo Cardoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Geovanni Damião tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cláudio Magalhães in the 57th minute of play forced Imbaubas's goalkeeper Geovanni Damião to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Tucunzeiro EC's Valério Diniz got control of the ball when Mané Matorin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cláudio Magalhães scored 3-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Geovanni Damião, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tucunzeiro EC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Amauri Valle in the 86th minute. The corner led Tucunzeiro EC's Amauri Valle to fire away a dangerous shot which Geovanni Damião despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Valério Diniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Silva in the 90th minute of play. Geovanni Damião stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Angelo Cardoso's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Tucunzeiro EC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
