Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Júnior Fonseca kicked off to start the match. Gerson Pires might have been able to make a better finish in the 2nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hernani Rosa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gerson Pires ran back to his position shaking his head. Ajax FC's Hernani Rosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinei Silveira in the 2nd minute of play. Júlio Dante's late challenge caught a Ajax FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Júlio Dante helped the player get up and apologised. Júlio Dante kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. When Júnior Fonseca came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Ajax FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Júnior Fonseca couldn't finish the play. In the 16th minute Claudinei Silveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernani Rosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hélder Palmeira charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hélder Palmeira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ajax FC booed when Perdeu Mamando FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hélder Palmeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sydney Cordeiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Jonas Branco made a huge save. In the 23rd minute, Gerson Pires left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Perdeu Mamando FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Ajax FC's zone, Claudinei Silveira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hernani Rosa came out of the goal and Claudinei Silveira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Sydney Cordeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonas Branco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júnior Fonseca in the 39th minute of play. Hernani Rosa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudinei Silveira's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

A collision led to Perdeu Mamando FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Deivid Coelho hit a great ball. Júnior Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Branco having to interfere. Júnior Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claudinei Silveira in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hernani Rosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 67 played minutes Ajax FC got a freekick which was hit by Patrick Novaes. In the 69th minute, Gerson Pires got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonas Branco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júnior Fonseca in the 74th minute of play. Sydney Cordeiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonas Branco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sydney Cordeiro ran back to his position shaking his head. Sydney Cordeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Jonas Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Perdeu Mamando FC defense, Júnior Fonseca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonas Branco. The Perdeu Mamando FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonas Branco should have stopped the shot. Jonas Branco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sydney Cordeiro in the 92nd minute of the match. Perdeu Mamando FC's Hélder Palmeira got his second yellow card of the match in the 92nd minute. The referee ordered Hélder Palmeira off the ground. After 93 played minutes Perdeu Mamando FC got a freekick which was hit by Hélder Palmeira. Sydney Cordeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ajax FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Perdeu Mamando FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
