Luan Novaes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erasmo Mineiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute, Nico Valladares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vivaldo Cosme, 19 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Hélio Silva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Almir Leão made a huge save. In the 27th minute, Hélio Silva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mauro Lima charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mauro Lima the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 30th minute, Mauro Lima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erasmo Mineiro in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luan Novaes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Harras de Carapicuiba FC's Jean Machado got a free kick in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erasmo Mineiro in the 38th minute of play forced Harras de Carapicuiba FC's goalkeeper Luan Novaes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erasmo Mineiro was the one to do the kick off. Luan Novaes was a little too slow when Erasmo Mineiro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 0-1. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gaviaozinho SC's goalkeeper Almir Leão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 73rd minute Geovanni de Amorim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Almir Leão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Hélio Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Harras de Carapicuiba FC's Hélio Silva got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erasmo Mineiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Luan Novaes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erasmo Mineiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luan Novaes having to make a save. Gaviaozinho SC's Almir Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovanni de Amorim in the 92nd minute of play. Erasmo Mineiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luan Novaes having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Gaviaozinho SC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
