The crowd rose to their feet as Luiz Paulo Loyola kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Júlio Britto. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. Júlio Britto made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Nuno Senna sent off a good shot on target. In the 14th minute, FRENEDA FUTEBOL CLUBE's Emanuel Leão dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. After 19 played minutes FRENEDA FUTEBOL CLUBE got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Leão. Nuno Senna hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 25 minutes into the match, Desportivo Itália's Caio Santana sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Caetano dos Santos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nuno Senna got free with Júlio Britto in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 32nd match minute, FRENEDA FUTEBOL CLUBE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juvenal Vasconcelos to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Desportivo Itália's Júlio Britto got control of the ball when Nuno Senna tried to sneak it across the goal line. FRENEDA FUTEBOL CLUBE's Caetano dos Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caio Santana in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute Hernani Marinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caetano dos Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nuno Senna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Júlio Britto made a huge save. FRENEDA FUTEBOL CLUBE's Caetano dos Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caio Santana in the 43rd minute of play. A collision led to FRENEDA FUTEBOL CLUBE getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Luiz Paulo Loyola hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Caio Santana was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of FRENEDA FUTEBOL CLUBE booed when Desportivo Itália was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. William de Alcântara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Júlio Britto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Leão in the 54th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Desportivo Itália's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Senna came free, but Júlio Britto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Júlio Britto came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by FRENEDA FUTEBOL CLUBE's Luiz Paulo Loyola. But to his dismay, Luiz Paulo Loyola quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Júlio Britto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juvenal Vasconcelos, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 68thth minute of the game Caio Santana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FRENEDA FUTEBOL CLUBE's Caetano dos Santos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FRENEDA FUTEBOL CLUBE's zone, William de Alcântara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Caetano dos Santos came out of the goal and William de Alcântara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Caetano dos Santos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sabino Veiga in the 78th minute. A collision led to Desportivo Itália getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. William de Alcântara hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute Emanuel Leão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júlio Britto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luiz Paulo Loyola scored 4-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Júlio Britto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 89th match minute, Desportivo Itália was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by William de Alcântara to maneuver through the defense. Desportivo Itália's Júlio Britto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Leão in the 92nd minute of play. The supporters of FRENEDA FUTEBOL CLUBE booed when Desportivo Itália was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Soeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Desportivo Itália players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FRENEDA FUTEBOL CLUBE.
