Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Patrick Seco made the kick off which started today's match. Vitinho Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 5 minutes into the match, Matetui EC's goal looked a bit too open when Vitinho Correia came free, but Vicente de Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Cristiano Paraibano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Vitinho Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Agnaldo Meirelles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristiano Paraibano succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 14th playminute. After 17 played minutes Matetui EC got a freekick which was hit by Betinho Correia. 24 minutes into the match, Matetui EC's goalkeeper Vicente de Barros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristiano Paraibano. Matetui EC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Vitinho Correia scored to the left of an out of position Vicente de Barros, making the score, 3-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Inácio Silva during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Inácio Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Betinho Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horácio Mazza having to interfere. A collision led to Matetui EC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Orlando Queirós hit a great ball. When José Baiano came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Comercial FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Baiano couldn't finish the play. 36 minutes into the match, Cristiano Paraibano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vicente de Barros. Matetui EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristiano Paraibano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. After recieving a nice pass, Comercial FC's Cristiano Paraibano tried to score from far away in the 40th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After having played for 44 minutes, Vitinho Correia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Comercial FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vitinho Correia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristiano Paraibano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Vicente de Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jacinto Paes to make the kick off. After 53 minutes Matetui EC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cristiano Paraibano who took care of the corner kick. Vicente de Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cléber Dantas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute, Patrick Seco reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Horácio Mazza. The goal made the score 4-1. Cristiano Paraibano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente de Barros having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Cristiano Paraibano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vicente de Barros was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Horácio Mazza was a little too slow when Patrick Seco got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 5-2. If Cristiano Paraibano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristiano Paraibano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luisinho Xavier during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 74th minute, Luisinho Xavier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Matetui EC defense, Jacinto Paes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vicente de Barros. The Matetui EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vicente de Barros should have stopped the shot. Vicente de Barros came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Comercial FC's Vitinho Correia. But to his dismay, Vitinho Correia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-2. The supporters of Matetui EC booed when Comercial FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agnaldo Meirelles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vicente de Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cacá Perez, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. If Cristiano Paraibano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Comercial FC had played much better football throughout.
