Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Sitio AD's Hermínio da Silva started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 9 played minutes Neves got a freekick which was hit by Vânderson Fontes. João Paulo Leal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Reinaldo Recife tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reinaldo Recife took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermínio da Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sitio AD's Vicente Brodel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edinho Chaves in the 14th minute of play. Vicente Brodel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frederico Silveira in the 16th minute of the match. Edinho Chaves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vicente Brodel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Neves's goalkeeper Reinaldo Recife had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by João Paulo Leal. If Hermínio da Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Vicente Brodel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edinho Chaves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers João Paulo Leal in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reinaldo Recife saved Neves from getting behind. In the 59th minute Edinho Chaves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Brodel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vicente Brodel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frederico Silveira in the 61st minute. In the 63rd match minute, Neves was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Augusto Secco to maneuver through the defense. Zé Roberto Barral hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. João Paulo Leal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vicente Brodel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edinho Chaves in the 87th minute of the match. Hermínio da Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Reinaldo Recife tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 98 minutes, Vicente Brodel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Neves had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
