Vicente Brodel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Douglas Meira showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Acácio Silva made a kick off. The supporters of Bandeirante FC booed when Sitio AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Valadares didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sitio AD's goalkeeper Vicente Brodel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
