Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Ediberto Albuquerque started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Ademar Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maurício Alagoano charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maurício Alagoano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 8 played minutes Crominia got a freekick which was hit by Maurício Alagoano. 11 minutes into the match, Meirim's goal looked a bit too open when Ademar Amorim came free, but Zézinho Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ediberto Albuquerque scored 1-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arthur Cruz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 21 minutes, Ademar Amorim mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Crominia and the Meirim players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 22nd match minute, Crominia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maurício Alagoano to maneuver through the defense. Arthur Cruz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fabiano Hames in the 24th minute of the match. If Luiz Fabiano Hames had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Léo Brito during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 32nd match minute, Crominia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Léo Brito to maneuver through the defense. Ediberto Albuquerque fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arthur Cruz having to interfere. In the 35th minute Luiz Fabiano Hames shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arthur Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Crominia's José Perez got a free kick in the 36th minute. Arthur Cruz made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Ediberto Albuquerque sent off a good shot on target. If Ademar Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Meirim's Zézinho Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ademar Amorim in the 48th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ademar Amorim was the one to do the kick off. Ediberto Albuquerque fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arthur Cruz having to interfere. With a little luck, Meirim's Zézinho Castro got control of the ball when Juvenal Freire tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 64th match minute, Crominia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by William do Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Crominia's zone, Luiz Fabiano Hames stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arthur Cruz came out of the goal and Luiz Fabiano Hames tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. José Perez charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed José Perez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. José Perez hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Crominia's Arthur Cruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ediberto Albuquerque in the 68th minute of play. Luiz Fabiano Hames received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Arthur Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ediberto Albuquerque fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arthur Cruz having to interfere. Ademar Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maurício Alagoano got free with Zézinho Castro in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 90th minute, Luiz Fabiano Hames made a precise shot to the right of Arthur Cruz. Crominia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After 96 minutes of play, Meirim's Luiz Fabiano Hames made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arthur Cruz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Meirim's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
