Guaporanga AD's Rubinho Castro got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Los Míticos FC's Luís Fabiano Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Los Míticos FC from getting a goal against them. If Kléberson Massa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Los Míticos FC reached it. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. After a defensive mix-up in Guaporanga AD's zone, Luís Paulo Schmidt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luciano Torres came out of the goal and Luís Paulo Schmidt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 66th minute Luís Paulo Schmidt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Torres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Guaporanga AD's goalkeeper Luciano Torres, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 74th minute of the match Edgard Valadares shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luciano Torres showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Flávio Aguiar fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Luciano Torres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
