Franklin Urbano started the match with the kick off. Conrado Loyola might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nico Freitas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Conrado Loyola ran back to his position shaking his head. 13 minutes into the match, Sussuapara FC's goalkeeper Hélio Abraão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by João Carlos Hoffmann. Jurua SC's João Carlos Hoffmann got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sussuapara FC's Franklin Urbano got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 20 minutes into the game, Conrado Loyola cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Nico Freitas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 25th minute, one of Jurua SC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Jurua SC. Fernando Valadares shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 36 minutes into the match, Sussuapara FC's goalkeeper Hélio Abraão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by João Carlos Hoffmann. João Carlos Hoffmanns short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Hélio Abraão to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Nelson Leme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nelson Leme was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Téo Ferreira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jurua SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sussuapara FC the free kick. In the 56th minute, Oséias Recife hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 66 minutes in the game, Conrado Loyola fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Nico Freitas having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Jurua SC's goal looked a bit too open when Franklin Urbano came free, but Nico Freitas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sussuapara FC's Hélio Abraão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nelson Leme in the 79th minute of play. If João Carlos Hoffmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, Jurua SC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Conrado Loyola fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Carlos Hoffmann in the 94th minute of play forced Sussuapara FC's goalkeeper Hélio Abraão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Conrado Loyola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
