Sérgio Recife made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 12 minutes of play, Jurua SC's Nelson Leme made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sérgio Recife was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nico Freitas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nestor da Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. If Nelson Leme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Téo Ferreira in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sérgio Recife saved Formoso SS from getting behind. After 31 minutes, Téo Ferreira made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Formoso SS's Sérgio Recife tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 35 minutes, Valdir Simão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Formoso SS and the Jurua SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Valdir Simão kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Rômulo Martins kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Thiago Porto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Nico Freitas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 52 played minutes Jurua SC got a freekick which was hit by Téo Ferreira. The supporters of Formoso SS booed when Jurua SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franklin Pires didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chico Mandrak in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nico Freitas saved Jurua SC from getting behind. 69 minutes into the match, Jurua SC's goal looked a bit too open when Chico Mandrak came free, but Nico Freitas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Jurua SC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
