After some careless play in the Clube Atletico Indaiatuba defense, Arnaldo Dante kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Júlio Sena. The Clube Atletico Indaiatuba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Júlio Sena should have stopped the shot. Júlio Sena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Albuquerque, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Júlio Sena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Albuquerque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute Gabriel Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Augusto de Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Augusto de Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Dante in the 26th minute of play forced Clube Atletico Indaiatuba's goalkeeper Júlio Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Clube Atletico Indaiatuba's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Albuquerque came free, but Júlio Sena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. With a little luck, Guarani FC's João Augusto de Azevedo got control of the ball when Gabriel Seco tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 47 minutes of play, Guarani FC's Arnaldo Dante made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Júlio Sena was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emenon Polanco in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck João Augusto de Azevedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 54th minute, Guarani FC's Luís Eduardo Marinho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. 58 minutes into the game, Dudu Senna threw the ball into play from the sideline. Clube Atletico Indaiatuba's Bernardo Tasso quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Enrique Amorim kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match.
