Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gabriel Silveira made the kick off which started today's match. In the 2nd minute of the match, Zé Antunes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Juninho Correia saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 4 minutes into the match, Gerencia's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Silveira came free, but Túlio Travassos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juninho Correia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Antunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Tony Pires might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juninho Correia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tony Pires ran back to his position shaking his head. If Luiz Fernando Gaúcho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Túlio Travassos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabriel Silveira's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Luiz Fernando Gaúcho struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Túlio Travassos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jardim SS. The supporters of Jardim SS booed when Gerencia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alessandro Galvão didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Luiz Fernando Gaúcho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jardim SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Fernando Gaúcho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Túlio Travassos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Enéas Peixoto hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Luiz Fernando Gaúcho struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Túlio Travassos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jardim SS. In the 46th minute, Zé Antunes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gerencia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0.
The wind increased when Zé Antunes made the kick off in the second half. 63 minutes into the match, Jardim SS's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Antunes came free, but Juninho Correia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jardim SS's goalkeeper Juninho Correia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony Pires in the 68th minute of play forced Jardim SS's goalkeeper Juninho Correia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Zé Antunes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juninho Correia. Jardim SS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zé Antunes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Gerencia's Tony Pires got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Alessandro Galvão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luiz Fernando Gaúcho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Túlio Travassos made a huge save. Eusébio de Amorim charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eusébio de Amorim the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tony Pires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 89th minute, Zé Antunes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Gerencia players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
