Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Cássio Neves started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 4 minutes into the match, Luiz Fábio Valadares notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Gerencia's Túlio Travassos. Túlio Travassos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luiz Fábio Valadares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cássio Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Túlio Travassos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucas Montenegro hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 16 minutes into the match, Canicura's goalkeeper Manfredo Gerber had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tony Pires. Tony Pires recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Manfredo Gerber managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Gerencia's Tony Pires fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Luiz Fábio Valadares struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Túlio Travassos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Canicura. Paulinho Mota charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulinho Mota the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 31st match minute, Gerencia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulinho Mota to maneuver through the defense. Canicura's Luiz Fábio Valadares got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Manfredo Gerber made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Tony Pires sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zé Antunes in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manfredo Gerber prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 45th minute Luiz Fábio Valadares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Túlio Travassos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Enéas Peixoto's late challenge caught a Canicura's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enéas Peixoto helped the player get up and apologised. Túlio Travassos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luiz Fábio Valadares in the 55th minute. After 55 played minutes Gerencia got a freekick which was hit by Enéas Peixoto. Matheus Paiva, 56 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Cássio Neves struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Túlio Travassos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Canicura. 65 minutes into the game, Fernandinho Toledo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gerencia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Canicura the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cássio Neves in the 67th minute of play forced Gerencia's goalkeeper Túlio Travassos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manfredo Gerber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Antunes in the 70th minute of play. Luiz Fábio Valadares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cássio Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Túlio Travassos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luiz Fábio Valadares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Canicura's Manfredo Gerber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Antunes in the 91st minute of play. Túlio Travassos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cássio Neves in the 95th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Canicura had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
