After a defensive mix-up in Altair SC's zone, Célio Rocha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benedito Bittencourt came out of the goal and Célio Rocha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jabaquara's Maurinho Mazza was substituted for Célio Rocha. Jabaquara's Maurinho Mazza got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Jabaquara defense, Luan Bertassi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of João Carlos Sabóia. The Jabaquara fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that João Carlos Sabóia should have stopped the shot. Humberto Aguiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedito Bittencourt having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Maurinho Mazza made a precise shot to the right of Benedito Bittencourt. Altair SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Maurinho Mazza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Benedito Bittencourt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Altair SC's goalkeeper Benedito Bittencourt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maurinho Mazza. Jabaquara's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
