He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Válter Domingues. After a rather tough play, Brenha AD's Cristóvão Baptista got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 26th minute, Cláudio Teles left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lajedinho AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Franklin Vides was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 37 minutes into the match. Válter Domingues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Cerezo in the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Cláudio Teles in the 52nd minute of play forced Brenha AD's goalkeeper Válter Domingues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristóvão Baptista charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristóvão Baptista the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Brenha AD getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Cristóvão Baptista hit a great ball. João Adolfo Pontes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 55th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Válter Domingues. Brenha AD's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Brenha AD booed when Lajedinho AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Fernando Fontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. The supporters of Brenha AD booed when Lajedinho AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodriguinho Tavares didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th match minute, Brenha AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elivélton Maranhense to maneuver through the defense. Válter Domingues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cláudio Teles in the 76th minute of play. Brenha AD's Cristóvão Baptista got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 87th minute, Erik Cerezo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 90 minutes of play, Lajedinho AD's Cláudio Teles made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Válter Domingues was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 94th minute, Erik Cerezo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lajedinho AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Lajedinho AD had played much better football throughout.
