Thanks to some nice moves Amauri Paulista could shoot a difficult shot in the 5th minute, which Gualter Sousa however easily saved by the left post. Henrique de Salles charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Henrique de Salles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Lajedinho AD booed when Seival was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrique de Salles didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Erik Cerezo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Agnaldo Madureira was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. In the 30th minute, Amauri Paulista got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Erik Cerezo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Agnaldo Madureira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 36 played minutes Seival got a freekick which was hit by Rogério de Salles. Cláudio Teles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 0-2 became the score in the 43rd minute when Cláudio Teles elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Erik Cerezo came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Lajedinho AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erik Cerezo couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Glauco Matorin made the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Amauri Paulista who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lajedinho AD's Gualter Sousa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Lajedinho AD defense, Amauri Paulista kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gualter Sousa. The Lajedinho AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gualter Sousa should have stopped the shot. Gualter Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amauri Paulista in the 59th minute of play. Erik Cerezo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Cláudio Teles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Agnaldo Madureira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pedro Paulo Madureira hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cláudio Teles got free with Agnaldo Madureira in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Seival's Agnaldo Madureira got control of the ball when Tião Sousa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gualter Sousa didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Seival's Glauco Matorin shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-3 in the ordered_time% minute. If Glauco Matorin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tião Sousa came free with the goalkeeper in the 94th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Agnaldo Madureira could save by the left post. Lajedinho AD's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
