Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Elivélton Maranhense got the match started through his kick off. A collision led to Brenha AD getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Cristóvão Baptista hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the match, Henrique de Salles had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Válter Domingues. Brenha AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Henrique de Salles was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 14th minute, Seival's Henrique de Salles dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. A collision led to Seival getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Fábio Zanette hit a great ball. In the 18th minute of the match Cristóvão Baptista shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Agnaldo Madureira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Glauco Matorin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Válter Domingues came out and tried to block the shot, but Glauco Matorin slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 19th minute. In the 25th minute, Elivélton Maranhense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 33rd match minute, Seival was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogério de Salles to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Brenha AD booed when Seival was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogério de Salles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elivélton Maranhense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Válter Domingues made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Pedro Paulo Madureira sent off a good shot on target. 45 minutes into the match, Brenha AD's goalkeeper Válter Domingues had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedro Paulo Madureira. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Glauco Matorin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Amadeu Arantes had to leave the field with a concussion. When Glauco Matorin fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Seival's protests and gave Glauco Matorin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th minute Glauco Matorin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Válter Domingues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elivélton Maranhense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rafa Tinoco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute, Elivélton Maranhense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Brenha AD's Válter Domingues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Glauco Matorin in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Glauco Matorin in the 70th minute of play forced Brenha AD's goalkeeper Válter Domingues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 71 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Brenha AD! In the 74th minute there was a penalty for Seival. Ciro Pires stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Válter Domingues. 4-0. In the 78th minute, Glauco Matorin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Válter Domingues was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Válter Domingues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amauri Paulista, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Perivaldo de Senna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agnaldo Madureira having to interfere. Juvenal Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Brenha AD's Válter Domingues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrique de Salles in the 90th minute of play. In the 92nd minute Pedro Paulo Madureira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Válter Domingues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute, Adalberto Prata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 98 played minutes Brenha AD got a freekick which was hit by Elivélton Maranhense. 99 minutes into the match, Seival's Ciro Pires broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.
