After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Aleandro Cabral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Neris SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Aleandro Cabral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Giovanni Reis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Neris SS getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Aleandro Cabral hit a great ball. In the 7th minute, Paulinho Favoretto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Giovanni Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aleandro Cabral in the 8th minute of play. Aleandro Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aleandro Cabral in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Giovanni Reis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Ameliopolis getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Dráusio Marques hit a great ball. Alan Batista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 16 minutes into the game, Paulinho Favoretto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ameliopolis's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Neris SS the free kick. In the 16th match minute, Ameliopolis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulinho Favoretto to maneuver through the defense. In the 18thth minute of the game Aleandro Cabral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ameliopolis's Giovanni Reis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 21 minutes of play, Neris SS's Aleandro Cabral made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Giovanni Reis was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ameliopolis's goalkeeper Giovanni Reis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Ameliopolis getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Caio Medeiros hit a great ball. After 31 played minutes, Neris SS's Luizinho Baptista shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Giovanni Reis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Neris SS reached it. After 36 minutes, Raphael Teixeira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Neris SS and the Ameliopolis players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 36 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Neris SS! The referee gave Ameliopolis a penalty, 38 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Paulinho Favoretto, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Neris SS's Bernardinho do Vale. 1-1. 44 minutes into the game, Ameliopolis's Osmar Rezende nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernardinho do Vale made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1.

Mateus Perez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giovanni Reis having to interfere. In the 53rd minute, Kléberson Proença hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Giovanni Reis didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Neris SS's Aleandro Cabral shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-2 in the ordered_time% minute. When Alan Batista came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Neris SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alan Batista couldn't finish the play. Aleandro Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alan Batista might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Giovanni Reis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alan Batista ran back to his position shaking his head. William Alvarenga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Giovanni Reis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. If Alan Batista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute, Emerson Teixeira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Giovanni Reis was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Osmar Rezende fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardinho do Vale having to interfere. 95 minutes into the game, Alan Batista cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-6. Giovanni Reis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match was over Neris SS could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ameliopolis throughout the match.
