The tension between the Neris SS and the Balco players grew even worse after the yellow card. Balco's Aníbal Donato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aleandro Cabral in the 10th minute of play. Aníbal Donato made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Aleandro Cabral sent off a good shot on target. Allan Motta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardinho do Vale having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Eliézer Moraes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 31 in the game by Alan Batista from a close distance when the talented Aníbal Donato managed to make a qualified save. Balco's players were relieved. Alan Batista succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 35th playminute. Aníbal Donato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aleandro Cabral, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Aleandro Cabral's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aníbal Donato read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Claudinho Lago stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Alan Batista's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aníbal Donato was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Alan Batista put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Aníbal Donato. Aníbal Donato came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Neris SS's Alan Batista. But to his dismay, Alan Batista quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Aleandro Cabral's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aníbal Donato read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Alan Batista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aníbal Donato having to interfere. In the 69thth minute of the game Alan Batista who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Balco's Aníbal Donato was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 69 played minutes Balco got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Cosme. After some careless play in the Balco defense, Alan Batista kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aníbal Donato. The Balco fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aníbal Donato should have stopped the shot. Aníbal Donato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aleandro Cabral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Allan Motta got free with Bernardinho do Vale in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aleandro Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd match minute, Balco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdo Vieira to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute, Aleandro Cabral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Balco's Aníbal Donato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alan Batista in the 88th minute of play. 88 minutes into the game, Felipe Cosme was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Balco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Neris SS the free kick. The supporters of Neris SS booed when Balco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Cosme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Neris SS were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after Balco's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luizinho Baptista took the corner. The corner ended in Luizinho Baptista almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Balco's Aníbal Donato did a great save. Aníbal Donato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aleandro Cabral in the 93rd minute of the match. Aleandro Cabral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aníbal Donato having to interfere.
