Wilton Oliveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wellington Meira in the 10th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Almir Falcão's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edmílson Guedes was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Wilton Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wellington Meira in the 17th minute of play. Celso Ceresso made in the 19th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Jacinto Gomes however managed to control. The supporters of S.E. Vídeo Park FMZ booed when Villa Sinistra FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Lira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celso Ceresso took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Wilton Oliveira. Villa Sinistra FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 26thth minute of the game Benedito Galvão who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.E. Vídeo Park FMZ's Edmílson Guedes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wellington Meira in the 30th minute of play forced Villa Sinistra FC's goalkeeper Wilton Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Villa Sinistra FC's Almir Falcão got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 33rd match minute, Villa Sinistra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adilson Maranhense to maneuver through the defense. Vídeo Park FMZ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Eduardo Lira kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Villa Sinistra FC's Juan Tasso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edmílson Guedes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 69 minutes into the game, Manfredo Branco recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wilton Oliveira. Manfredo Branco showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. After having played for 73 minutes, Eduardo Lira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villa Sinistra FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduardo Lira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Adilson Maranhense came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Villa Sinistra FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adilson Maranhense couldn't finish the play. Almir Falcão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Edmílson Guedes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albertinho Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the game, Villa Sinistra FC's Adilson Maranhense nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edmílson Guedes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. In the 83rd minute, Rafael Souto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Almir Falcão scored 3-2 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edmílson Guedes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edmílson Guedes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adilson Maranhense's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Villa Sinistra FC had played much better football throughout.
