Oséas Martins could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Lenílson Bittencourt made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 11 minutes, Lenílson Bittencourt successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With an all-out effort, 1922 União Soviética URSS's Lenílson Bittencourt threw himself towards the right post 21 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tadeu Vides, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience was convinced that Laércio Albuquerque's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Celso Queirós was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Lenílson Bittencourt didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 25th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Celso Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gugu Quadros, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Celso Queirós was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gugu Quadros to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tadeu Vides in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lenílson Bittencourt saved Biriguy SS from getting behind. A collision led to Biriguy SS getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Laércio Albuquerque hit a great ball. If Tadeu Vides had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Oséas Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 62 minutes into the match, Biriguy SS's goal looked a bit too open when Oséas Martins came free, but Lenílson Bittencourt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laércio Albuquerque recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gugu Quadros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Celso Queirós read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oséas Martins in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lenílson Bittencourt saved Biriguy SS from getting behind. Laércio Albuquerque kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. If Oséas Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 75 played minutes Biriguy SS got a freekick which was hit by Giuseppe Paraíba. 1922 União Soviética URSS's Celso Queirós proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save 1922 União Soviética URSS from getting a goal against them. After 79 played minutes 1922 União Soviética URSS got a freekick which was hit by Luís Paulo Freitas. Oséas Martins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Lenílson Bittencourt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, Tadeu Vides notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Biriguy SS's Lenílson Bittencourt. Lenílson Bittencourt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in 1922 União Soviética URSS's zone, Gugu Quadros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celso Queirós came out of the goal and Gugu Quadros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 1922 União Soviética URSS's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
