Erivaldo Leme hit a great ball. Fred Amaral struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Guto Meireles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Praia AD. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Fred Amaral took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Guto Meireles to make any attempt to save it. In the 23rd minute Zé Pedro Melo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorival de Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guto Meireles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonardo Eger in the 26th minute. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Fred Amaral took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Guto Meireles to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, Vilão FC's Guto Meireles got control of the ball when Leonardo Eger tried to sneak it across the goal line. Guto Meireles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Guto Meireles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Orlando Bittencourt took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 55th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Guto Meireles. Vilão FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Leonardo Eger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Praia AD's Dorival de Toledo got control of the ball when Jarbas Vieira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leonardo Eger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guto Meireles having to interfere. Fred Amaral's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guto Meireles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. In the 71st minute of the match Hortêncio Valladares shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Guto Meireles showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Fred Amaral notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Vilão FC's Guto Meireles. Guto Meireles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred Amaral in the 89th minute of play forced Vilão FC's goalkeeper Guto Meireles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
