Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Silas Trigo got the match started through his kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Lino Eger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flamengo's supporters rose to their feet, but Lino Eger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eurico Hames breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 9thth minute of the game Germano Vidal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Flamengo's Hamílton Rosa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Flamengo's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Gonçalves came free, but Hamílton Rosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute, Germano Vidal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Felipe Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamílton Rosa having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felipe Gonçalves in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hamílton Rosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Cuo getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Enio Braga hit a great ball. In the 35th minute, Dedé Magalhães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute, Silas Trigo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Flamengo's Silas Trigo in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cuo's goalie prevented a goal. Alex Cerezo charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alex Cerezo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alex Cerezo kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Gonçalves in the 47th minute of play forced Flamengo's goalkeeper Hamílton Rosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Felipe Gonçalves made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Flamengo getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Noel Seco hit a great ball. Cuo's Cléber Coutinho got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Flamengo's goalkeeper Hamílton Rosa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 58 minutes into the game, Oséias Marinho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Flamengo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cuo the free kick. The supporters of Cuo booed when Flamengo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oséias Marinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute, Silas Trigo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eurico Hames was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Felipe Gonçalves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Hamílton Rosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Flamengo's Hamílton Rosa got control of the ball when Germano Vidal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hamílton Rosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Gonçalves in the 73rd minute of play. Reynaldo Pinheiro hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Germano Vidal was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 79th minute. Cuo's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Felipe Gonçalves struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Hamílton Rosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cuo. Germano Vidal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Flamengo players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
