Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Felipe Gonçalves took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Gonçalves in the 3rd minute of play forced Inglesa AD's goalkeeper José Pedro Diniz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Germano Vidal came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Cuo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Germano Vidal couldn't finish the play. Germano Vidal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. José Pedro Diniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Cuo's Cléber Coutinho broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 25th minute, Cuo's Felipe Gonçalves dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Adriano de Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Eurico Hames tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eurico Hames showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wellington Soares in the 30th minute of the match. In the 31st match minute, Cuo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Cerezo to maneuver through the defense. José Pedro Diniz acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 38th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Doriva Travassos. After having played for 42 minutes, Germano Vidal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cuo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Germano Vidal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 46th minute Felipe Gonçalves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Pedro Diniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chiquinho Leite hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. In the 50th match minute, Inglesa AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wesley Furlan to maneuver through the defense. José Pedro Diniz was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Cléber Coutinho. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wellington Soares stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Felipe Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Pedro Diniz came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Cuo's Felipe Gonçalves. But to his dismay, Felipe Gonçalves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Germano Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Pedro Diniz having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Germano Vidal in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José Pedro Diniz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 82 minutes into the match, Cuo's goalkeeper Eurico Hames had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adriano de Queirós. In the 85th minute of the match Cléber Coutinho shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but José Pedro Diniz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 91st minute, Adriano de Queirós left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Inglesa AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Germano Vidal struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. José Pedro Diniz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cuo. José Pedro Diniz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dedé Magalhães, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. Felipe Gonçalves struck a weak shot in the 101st minute. José Pedro Diniz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cuo. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cuo fully deserved thier win.
