The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Caixao's goalkeeper Dionísio de Barros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 98 minutes into the match, PAPA FUTEBOL CLUBE's goal looked a bit too open when Wilton Cardozo came free, but Vicente Lopes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caixao succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though PAPA FUTEBOL CLUBE had controlled the match.
