Dalmo Barral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dorival de Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to AFX Capital getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Oséias Eger hit a great ball. Itamorotinga were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after AFX Capital's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Virgílio Dracena took the corner. The corner led Itamorotinga's Virgílio Dracena to fire away a dangerous shot which Adhemar Valadares despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Dalmo Barral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeu Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute, Júlio Albuquerque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Aníbal Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dalmo Barral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elivélton Cerezo, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Dalmo Barral didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elivélton Cerezo went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Dalmo Barral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elivélton Cerezo in the 23rd minute of play. Dalmo Barral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aníbal Rodrigues, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Aníbal Rodrigues had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dalmo Barral. Itamorotinga's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aníbal Rodrigues was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After 33 played minutes AFX Capital got a freekick which was hit by Romeu Castro. In the 35th minute of the match Itamorotinga got a corner. AFX Capital's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Virgílio Dracena ran over to the corner to take the kick. Carlos Alberto Arósio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adhemar Valadares having to make a save. After 41 minutes of play, AFX Capital's Aníbal Rodrigues made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dalmo Barral was left in no man's land by his defense there! Elias Trevisan kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After the first half AFX Capital were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elder Braga to make the kick off. Aníbal Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmo Barral having to interfere. Elivélton Cerezo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elivélton Cerezos short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Dalmo Barral to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Elder Braga struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Adhemar Valadares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itamorotinga. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Elivélton Cerezo sped through Itamorotinga's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dalmo Barral. When AFX Capital's Aníbal Rodrigues in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Itamorotinga's goalie prevented a goal. 92 minutes into the game, AFX Capital's Elivélton Cerezo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dalmo Barral made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Júlio Albuquerque kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. After having played for 97 minutes, Elder Braga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itamorotinga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elder Braga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
