Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Giovani do Valle started the match with the kick off. Giovani do Valle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 8th minute Inácio Coelho managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Os Nefilins's zone, Murilo Hames stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geovani Moura came out of the goal and Murilo Hames tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Os Nefilins's Geovani Moura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murilo Hames in the 12th minute of play. Geovani Moura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noel Braga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute, João Trigo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Murilo Hames sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Murilo Hames in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Geovani Moura saved Os Nefilins from getting behind. Noel Braga kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Giovani do Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Nunes having to interfere. Giovani do Valle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Geovani Moura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noel Braga in the 33rd minute of the match. 35 minutes into the game, Quantigua AD's Murilo Hames nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Geovani Moura made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Marco Severo struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Teodoro Nunes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Os Nefilins. In the 47th minute when Inácio Coelho was dribbling his way through Quantigua AD's defense he got a clear chance for a shot, but the shot went just outside the left post. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Murilo Hames was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Os Nefilins's goal looked a bit too open when Murilo Hames came free, but Geovani Moura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 53rd match minute, Os Nefilins was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Severo to maneuver through the defense. Murilo Hames fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovani Moura having to interfere. When Marco Severo came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Os Nefilins fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Severo couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Quantigua AD getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Bebeto Prado hit a great ball. Noel Braga didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-2 via right post in the game's 63rd minute. Quantigua AD's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Giovani do Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Os Nefilins booed when Quantigua AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bebeto Prado didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Noel Braga got free with Geovani Moura in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Os Nefilins's João Trigo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Rogério Antunes, made in the 76th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Quantigua AD's zone, João Trigo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodoro Nunes came out of the goal and João Trigo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Inácio Coelho came free in the 79th minute and tried to tip the ball over Teodoro Nunes, but to the joy of Quantigua AD's supporters the ball went over. If Giovani do Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Marco Severo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Os Nefilins's supporters rose to their feet, but Marco Severo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teodoro Nunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience held their breath when Inácio Coelho in the 94th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Teodoro Nunes's left hand side.
