In the 13th minute, Hélder Tinoco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brasil Team FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aníbal Barbosa got free with Claudinho Cordeiro in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 22nd minute, Nilson Trancoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Aníbal Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. Gino Reis took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Claudinho Cordeiro. Claudinho Cordeiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 62nd minute, Gino Reis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 63 played minutes Brasil Team FC got a freekick which was hit by Arlindo Sampaio. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aníbal Barbosa in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claudinho Cordeiro saved Brasil Team FC from getting behind. Benedito Cavalcante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hélder Tinoco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Aníbal Barbosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cuitelos SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Aníbal Barbosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudinho Cordeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 88 minutes into the match, Brasil Team FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aníbal Barbosa came free, but Claudinho Cordeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
