Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dênis Godoi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a defensive mix-up in Murupe's zone, Hélder Tinoco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dênis Godoi came out of the goal and Hélder Tinoco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 11th minute, Hélder Tinoco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benedito Cavalcante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dênis Godoi having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Murupe's goal looked a bit too open when Benedito Cavalcante came free, but Dênis Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luan Mattos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 23rd match minute, Murupe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldo de Sousa to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luan Mattos to strike the kick off in the second half. Zeca Marinho charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zeca Marinho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. During the 64th minute of the match Zeca Marinho completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Zeca Marinho a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Claudinho Cordeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luan Mattos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hélder Tinoco took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dênis Godoi. Dênis Godoi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. If Joélson Capixaba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brasil Team FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Murupe to leave the ground with a draw.
