Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Lino do Valle made the kick off which started today's match. In the 5th minute, Jailson Travassos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonas do Nascimento was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cajueiras FC's goalkeeper Jonas do Nascimento, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Umbauba's Jailson Travassos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonas do Nascimento. That made the score 2-0 after 12 minutes of play. Caetano Tasso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 18 minutes into the game, Cajueiras FC's Caetano Tasso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ademir Queiroz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After some careless play in the Umbauba defense, Lino do Valle kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ademir Queiroz. The Umbauba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ademir Queiroz should have stopped the shot. Emerson Barbosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas do Nascimento having to interfere. 30 minutes into the game, Gilmar Pitta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Umbauba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cajueiras FC the free kick. Gilmar Pitta hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute, Caetano Tasso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Umbauba getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Gilmar Pitta hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Umbauba's zone, Lino do Valle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ademir Queiroz came out of the goal and Lino do Valle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Osvaldinho Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 36th minute Lino do Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ademir Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute, Emerson Barbosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jailson Travassos in the 42nd minute of play forced Cajueiras FC's goalkeeper Jonas do Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonas do Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jailson Travassos in the 44th minute of play. Emerson Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jailson Travassos to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 56 minutes, Gilmar Pitta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Umbauba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilmar Pitta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emerson Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 63 minutes into the match, Umbauba's Jailson Travassos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonas do Nascimento narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Caetano Tasso scored 2-3 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ademir Queiroz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jailson Travassos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Caetano Tasso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Ademir Queiroz made a huge save. Jailson Travassos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 85th minute of the game. One of Cajueiras FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Umbauba:s goal. In the 87th minute there was a penalty for Umbauba. Edgard das Neves stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jonas do Nascimento. 3-3. Emerson Barbosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 96th minute, Perivaldo de Azevedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 4-3 became the score in the 98th minute when Emerson Barbosa elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Umbauba were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Cajueiras FC for a fine match.
