When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Ramón Neves took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Virgílio Bezerra to make any attempt to save it. Ramón Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Virgílio Bezerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Virgílio Bezerra successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Cesinha do Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in GRÊMIO FARRAPO FC's zone, Zé Carlos Diniz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Sarmento came out of the goal and Zé Carlos Diniz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Cesinha do Nascimento came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the TRALHA F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cesinha do Nascimento couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Hortêncio Cerezo managed to get in a good position for a shot. TRALHA F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Hortêncio Cerezo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Sarmento breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zé Carlos Diniz struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Miguel Sarmento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Carlos Diniz in the 71st minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Zé Carlos Diniz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Eusébio Pitta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the match, GRÊMIO FARRAPO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cesinha do Nascimento came free, but Miguel Sarmento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
