In the 30thth minute of the game Rogério Loureiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Figueira FC's Teodoro Mendonça was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Figueira FC's Cícero Veiga got a free kick in the 30th minute. Teodoro Mendonça stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rogério Loureiro's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. After having played for 35 minutes, Maurinho Trevisan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ibatui AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maurinho Trevisan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ibatui AD's Maurinho Trevisan in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Mateus Brodel got free with Teodoro Mendonça in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rogério Loureiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teodoro Mendonça made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rogério Loureiro in the 74th minute. Figueira FC's Teodoro Mendonça proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Figueira FC from getting a goal against them. Teodoro Mendonça was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Figueira FC booed when Ibatui AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diamantino Coutinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Figueira FC's Teodoro Mendonça got control of the ball when Rogério Loureiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rogério Loureiro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Teodoro Mendonça when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ibatui AD played a much better game than Figueira FC and deserved their victory. The Figueira FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
