Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Valdomiro de Sena started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Ronaldinho Rocha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Figueira FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vajoia SS the free kick. After 4 played minutes Figueira FC got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldinho Rocha. After having played for 11 minutes, Valdomiro de Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vajoia SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valdomiro de Sena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valdomiro de Sena was extremely unlucky when he, in the 13th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. With his leg Teodoro Mendonça managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when Vajoia SS's Yan da Cunha fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Figueira FC's Teodoro Mendonça proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Figueira FC from getting a goal against them. Cícero Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Figueira FC's Teodoro Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdomiro de Sena in the 19th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Yan da Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vajoia SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Yan da Cunha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teodoro Mendonça breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fabiano Tróia charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabiano Tróia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 38th minute Valdomiro de Sena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Figueira FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Cícero Veiga hit a great ball. In the 50th minute of the match Vajoia SS got a corner. Figueira FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kauan Aguiar ran over to the corner to take the kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

After a defensive mix-up in Figueira FC's zone, Valdomiro de Sena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodoro Mendonça came out of the goal and Valdomiro de Sena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Vajoia SS booed when Figueira FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronaldinho Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teodoro Mendonça didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yan da Cunha went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. If Valdomiro de Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teodoro Mendonça didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valdomiro de Sena went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Teodoro Mendonça stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valdomiro de Sena's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Váldson Palmeira's late challenge caught a Figueira FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Váldson Palmeira helped the player get up and apologised. In the 79th match minute, Vajoia SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Váldson Palmeira to maneuver through the defense. Vajoia SS's Yan da Cunha got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teodoro Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Váldson Palmeira in the 88th minute of play. Teodoro Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yan da Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yan da Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Mendonça having to interfere. Teodoro Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yan da Cunha in the 93rd minute of play. Váldson Palmeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Figueira FC's Cícero Veiga got a free kick in the 96th minute. 99 minutes into the match, Vajoia SS's Yan da Cunha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teodoro Mendonça narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vajoia SS's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
