Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Paulo Renato Tasso kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute Rogério Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caetano Vieira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Renato Tasso did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Edmundo Fernandes 5 minutes into the match. If Eduardo Rosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 10 minutes, Orlando Loyola mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Araçatubense and the Terras SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Araçatubense getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Orlando Loyola hit a great ball. Edmundo Fernandes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Renato Tasso in the 11th minute of play. Caetano Vieira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogério Senna in the 20th minute of play. Paulo Renato Tasso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmundo Fernandes having to interfere. In the 25th minute Paulo Renato Tasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmundo Fernandes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eduardo Rosas short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Edmundo Fernandes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Renato Tasso in the 27th minute of play forced Araçatubense's goalkeeper Edmundo Fernandes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 28 minutes, Sandro Reis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Araçatubense and the Terras SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 28 played minutes Araçatubense got a freekick which was hit by Sandro Reis. In the 31st minute, Eduardo Rosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Araçatubense's goalkeeper Edmundo Fernandes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eduardo Rosa. If Eduardo Rosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Caetano Vieira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Fernando Britto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eduardo Rosa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Edmundo Fernandes made a huge save. Edmundo Fernandes was out of position in the 48 minute of play, and Paulo Renato Tasso capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Paulo Renato Tasso really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Luiz Fernando Britto made the kick off in the second half. Paulo Renato Tasso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Edmundo Fernandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Terras SS's Eduardo Rosa in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Maurício Tinoco's late challenge caught a Terras SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Terras SS's goalkeeper Caetano Vieira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Paulo Renato Tasso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 94 minutes into the game, Luiz Fernando Britto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Araçatubense's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Terras SS the free kick. After a rather tough play, Araçatubense's Luiz Fernando Britto got a free kick in the 94th minute. Eduardo Rosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Terras SS walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
