Alvarenga's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eagles Ac the free kick. In the 23rd minute, Adhemar Pinheiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Digo de Sena hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Bektaş Veli İğdemir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Décio Tinoco might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ramiro Gomes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Décio Tinoco ran back to his position shaking his head. Hernani Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Ramiro Gomes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Alvarenga's zone, Osvaldo Cobos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramiro Gomes came out of the goal and Osvaldo Cobos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 37 minutes into the match, Alvarenga's goal looked a bit too open when Décio Tinoco came free, but Ramiro Gomes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute, Bektaş Veli İğdemir ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ramiro Gomes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Décio Tinoco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Ramiro Gomes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ramiro Gomes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Décio Tinoco in the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Décio Tinoco made the kick off in the second half. Téo do Valle stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adhemar Pinheiro's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Décio Tinoco in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ramiro Gomes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After having played for 58 minutes, Hernani Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eagles Ac's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hernani Queirós was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Téo do Valle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Mello in the 62nd minute of the match. If Hernani Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eagles Ac's Décio Tinoco got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eagles Ac's Bektaş Veli İğdemir got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 70th minute by Décio Tinoco got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Bektaş Veli İğdemir struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Ramiro Gomes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eagles Ac. Digo de Sena kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. The referee gave Eagles Ac a penalty, 80 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Norberto Mineiro, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Alvarenga's Ramiro Gomes. 0-2. Through an outstanding action, after 85 minutes, Ramiro Gomes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Bektaş Veli İğdemirs short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Ramiro Gomes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Décio Tinoco during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Eagles Ac's zone, Jorge Mello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Téo do Valle came out of the goal and Jorge Mello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 97 minutes into the game, Alvarenga's Jorge Mello nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Téo do Valle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Eagles Ac's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
