Décio Tinoco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caetano Vieira having to interfere. If Caetano Arósio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Téo do Valle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caetano Arósio in the 32nd minute of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Décio Tinoco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match, Eduardo Rosa got a very nice opportunity to score, but Téo do Valle was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.
