Kléber da Mata's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Willian Brasil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. After 23 played minutes Bayeux SC got a freekick which was hit by Cido das Neves. If Kléber da Mata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 25 played minutes Bayeux SC got a freekick which was hit by Nestor Paraense. Willian Brasil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bayeux SC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Donato Silva 37 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Pindoguaba's Erik Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Belmiro Matorin in the 40th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Belmiro Matorin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute Kléber da Mata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willian Brasil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the game, Pindoguaba's Donato Silva nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Willian Brasil made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Donato Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willian Brasil having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Kléber da Mata managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pindoguaba's supporters rose to their feet, but Kléber da Mata was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Willian Brasil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Bayeux SC's zone, Kléber da Mata stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Willian Brasil came out of the goal and Kléber da Mata tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Magno de Mendonça kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the game, Pindoguaba's Donato Silva nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Willian Brasil made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Erik Amaral didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cido das Neves went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Bayeux SC's Willian Brasil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Silva in the 86th minute of play. When Donato Silva came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Pindoguaba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donato Silva couldn't finish the play. Nestor Paraense was shown his second yellow card after 94 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 94 played minutes Bayeux SC got a freekick which was hit by Nestor Paraense. 96 minutes into the match, Bayeux SC's goal looked a bit too open when Kléber da Mata came free, but Willian Brasil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Pindoguaba had won after a very even match.
