To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 18 played minutes, Landin FC's Eliseu de Lara shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gildo Ferraz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Landin FC reached it. Jairo Massa kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Landin FC's goalkeeper Emerson da Fonseca, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. César Soeiro charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed César Soeiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 31st minute, Landin FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after José Vítor Miranda fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Emerson da Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Vítor Miranda in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Jairo Massa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fábio Seco struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Gildo Ferraz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Landin FC. If Fábio Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when José Vítor Miranda stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gildo Ferraz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frédson Mazza, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Fábio Seco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gildo Ferraz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. After 57 minutes, Vitinho Corrêa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TIGRES BRANCOS and the Landin FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 57 played minutes TIGRES BRANCOS got a freekick which was hit by Vitinho Corrêa. TIGRES BRANCOS's Gildo Ferraz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frédson Mazza in the 71st minute of play. If Fábio Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. César Soeiro hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Fabiano do Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute, Fábio Seco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Landin FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 90th minute José Vítor Miranda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emerson da Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fábio Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Landin FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than TIGRES BRANCOS throughout the match.
