Emerson da Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabrício Oliveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the match, Fábio Seco notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Campeira SC's Luís Maia. Luís Maia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Campeira SC booed when Landin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yuri Pirani didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute of the match Cristian Brasil sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emerson da Fonseca skillfully saved the ball. In the 20th minute Fabrício Oliveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emerson da Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Frédson Mazza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 25 minutes into the game, Dino Peixoto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Campeira SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Landin FC the free kick. In the 46th minute, Dino Peixoto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emerson da Fonseca was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Through an outstanding action, after 55 minutes, Luís Maia successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Frédson Mazza might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luís Maia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frédson Mazza ran back to his position shaking his head. If Fábio Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luís Maia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 90th minute Frédson Mazza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Maia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Fabrício Oliveira came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Campeira SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabrício Oliveira couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Campeira SC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Arí Rossi hit a great ball. When Jairo Massa was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 95 minutes had been played.
