Toninho Galvão started the match with the kick off. Enéas Quirino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Didi Matos, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Didi Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enéas Quirino having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Chinesa's Dida Abreu got a free kick in the 12th minute. Célio Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toninho Galvão in the 15th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, verusca¹s team's goalkeeper Célio Cunha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Válbson Donato. Luís Fabiano Brasil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enéas Quirino having to interfere. Didi Matos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 26 minutes into the game, Inácio Motta threw the ball into play from the sideline. verusca¹s team's Jonathan Pontes quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. verusca¹s team's Luís Fabiano Brasil got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 33 minutes into the match, verusca¹s team's goalkeeper Célio Cunha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Válbson Donato. 34 minutes into the match, verusca¹s team's goal looked a bit too open when Toninho Galvão came free, but Célio Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Célio Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toninho Galvão in the 34th minute of play. Enéas Quirino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Pontes in the 39th minute of the match. verusca¹s team's Célio Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toninho Galvão in the 44th minute of play. Luís Fabiano Brasil struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Enéas Quirino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for verusca¹s team. Duda Borges hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. When Luís Fabiano Brasil came up free with the goalie in the 50th minute, the verusca¹s team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Fabiano Brasil couldn't finish the play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After 58 minutes of play, Chinesa's Evandro Damião made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Célio Cunha was left in no man's land by his defense there! Didi Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enéas Quirino having to interfere. In the 87th minute Toninho Galvão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Célio Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evandro Damião scored 2-1 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Célio Cunha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Célio Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Válbson Donato, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute.
