Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Mauro Proença started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Filipe Fontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo Mesquita in the 4th minute of play. When Jarbas Donato fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ipoeira's protests and gave Jarbas Donato a yellow card for diving instead. Jarbas Donato hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Giqui SS's Filipe Fontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomás Dante in the 12th minute of play. After having played for 19 minutes, Thomás Dante managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ipoeira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thomás Dante was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 21 minutes of play, Ipoeira's Thomás Dante made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gil Mello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thomás Dante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Fontes having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gil Mello got free with Gláuber Salgado in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kauã Ferraz kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Gláuber Salgado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gil Mello went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Gil Mello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gláuber Salgado having to interfere. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thomás Dante to strike the kick off in the second half. Evaristo Mesquitas short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Filipe Fontes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 60 minutes of play Ipoeira's Kauã Ferraz was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 60 played minutes Ipoeira got a freekick which was hit by Kauã Ferraz. Gil Mello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Evaristo Mesquita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ipoeira's Claudinho Neiva got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gláuber Salgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Proença, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 78th minute Mauro Proença shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gláuber Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Mauro Proença notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Ipoeira's Gláuber Salgado. Gláuber Salgado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gil Mello's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gláuber Salgado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Gláuber Salgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Proença, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Gil Mello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Proença in the 98th minute of play forced Ipoeira's goalkeeper Gláuber Salgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giqui SS were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ipoeira for a fine match.
