Gil Mello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elder de Queiroz having to interfere. Elder de Queiroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gil Mello, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Siupe EC's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Proença came free, but Elder de Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Giqui SS's Alan Miranda got a free kick in the 16th minute. After 17 minutes, Durvalino Fonseca made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Giqui SS's Filipe Fontes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 19th minute, Alan Miranda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gil Mello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Siupe EC's Zézinho Arósio got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alan Miranda kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Gil Mello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Elder de Queiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Siupe EC booed when Giqui SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filipe Fontes was out of position in the 48 minute of play, and Durvalino Fonseca capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Durvalino Fonseca really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0.

The wind increased when Durvalino Fonseca made the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Giqui SS's goal looked a bit too open when Zézinho Arósio came free, but Filipe Fontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zézinho Arósio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Fontes having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Durvalino Fonseca in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filipe Fontes saved Giqui SS from getting behind. Filipe Fontes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Durvalino Fonseca went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Tomás Cruz hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Siupe EC's Luís Eduardo Dantas got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zézinho Arósio struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Filipe Fontes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Siupe EC. 86 minutes into the match, Giqui SS's goal looked a bit too open when Durvalino Fonseca came free, but Filipe Fontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Durvalino Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Durvalino Fonseca in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filipe Fontes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Durvalino Fonseca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filipe Fontes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Siupe EC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
