After having played for 4 minutes, Eliézer Sousa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mariquita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliézer Sousa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 6 minutes, Eliézer Sousa made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Moiboada's Tiago Palmeira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Amadeu Vale kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Sidnei das Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Pires in the 12th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Moiboada's Fernando Pires sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sidnei das Neves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 19thth minute of the game Fernando Pires who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mariquita's Sidnei das Neves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Moiboada booed when Mariquita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Durval Barbosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Moiboada getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Jonas Hoffmann hit a great ball. Amadeu Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Palmeira having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amadeu Vale got free with Tiago Palmeira in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zeca Hermes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Sidnei das Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernando Pires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Mariquita's Tiago Palmeira threw himself towards the right post 59 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Amadeu Vale, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Moiboada's Tiago Palmeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amadeu Vale in the 71st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Moiboada's Alexsandro Diniz got a free kick in the 71st minute. When Amadeu Vale came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Mariquita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amadeu Vale couldn't finish the play. Amadeu Vale struck a weak shot in the 79th minute.
