Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hamílton Coelho started the match with the kick off. In the 5th match minute, Mombaco SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Ramalho to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th minute, Hamílton Coelho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Marcos Freire III fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. When Hamílton Coelho fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marcos Freire III's protests and gave Hamílton Coelho a yellow card for diving instead. Hamílton Coelho kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th minute Jeremias Vargas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristóvão Arantes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hamílton Coelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Glauco Carneiro having to interfere. Luizão Andrade received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Glauco Carneiro came out and tried to block the shot, but Luizão Andrade slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 15th minute. After 20 played minutes Marcos Freire III got a freekick which was hit by Vivaldo Travassos. Glauco Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hamílton Coelho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, Dênis Falcão had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristóvão Arantes. Marcos Freire III's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dênis Falcão was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. If Hamílton Coelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Hortêncio Guedes fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mombaco SC's protests and gave Hortêncio Guedes a yellow card for diving instead. After 27 played minutes Mombaco SC got a freekick which was hit by Hortêncio Guedes. 32 minutes into the match, Marcos Freire III's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Valladares came free, but Cristóvão Arantes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamílton Coelho in the 34th minute of play forced Mombaco SC's goalkeeper Glauco Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute Hamílton Coelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Glauco Carneiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vivaldo Travassos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vivaldo Travassos took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Glauco Carneiro. Glauco Carneiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Glauco Carneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamílton Coelho in the 42nd minute of play. Nildo Nunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Glauco Carneiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dênis Falcão to make the kick off. After 54 minutes, Hamílton Coelho made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Mombaco SC's Glauco Carneiro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Adelino Recife fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Glauco Carneiro having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Hamílton Coelho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Glauco Carneiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Marcos Freire III's Hamílton Coelho got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vivaldo Travassos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 73 minutes into the match, Marcos Freire III's goalkeeper Cristóvão Arantes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfredo Valladares. Glauco Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hamílton Coelho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos Freire III's Cristóvão Arantes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dênis Falcão in the 76th minute of play. Glauco Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adelino Recife in the 77th minute of the match. Marcos Freire III's Cristóvão Arantes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hortêncio Guedes in the 79th minute of play. Fernando Faria was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 79 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Marcos Freire III fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 78th minute. Penalty! Marcos Freire III:s Cristóvão Arantes showed great skill when he stopped Tião Falcão:s penalty. 82 minutes into the match, Vivaldo Travassos notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Mombaco SC's Glauco Carneiro. Glauco Carneiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nildo Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcos Freire III's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
