Calcoene's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gomaticum AD the free kick. After a rather tough play, Calcoene's Natã Pitta got a free kick in the 6th minute. After 7 played minutes Calcoene got a freekick which was hit by Murilo Ceresso. Patrick Abraão was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Mané Gaspar. Amadeu Camargo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 9thth minute, Patrick Abraão skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The Gomaticum AD fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Gomaticum AD's Vito Abraão looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 23rd minute, Calcoene's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Amadeu Camargo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 25th minute of the game. One of Calcoene:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gomaticum AD:s goal. Mané Gaspar placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! In the 29th minute, Gomaticum AD's Vito Abraão ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Patrick Abraão. Patrick Abraão yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. André Varela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Tostão Cardoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dagoberto Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Vito Abraão managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gomaticum AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Vito Abraão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patrick Abraão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vito Abraão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when José Vítor Donato made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vito Abraão in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patrick Abraão saved Calcoene from getting behind. In the 60th minute, Dagoberto Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Calcoene's zone, Dagoberto Amaral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patrick Abraão came out of the goal and Dagoberto Amaral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vágner Maia's late challenge caught a Gomaticum AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vágner Maia helped the player get up and apologised. In the 75th match minute, Calcoene was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vágner Maia to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute Vito Abraão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Abraão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Gomaticum AD's goal looked a bit too open when José Vítor Donato came free, but Tostão Cardoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
