Albertinho Monteiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Norberto Sabóia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th minute Albertinho Monteiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norberto Sabóia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Norberto Sabóia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albertinho Monteiro in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute Sebastião Meira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hortêncio Soeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dé Hermes took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hortêncio Soeiro. Hortêncio Soeiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 25th minute, Luís Fernando Zilles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guga Araújo, 25 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 27th match minute, Himalaia SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastião Meira to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Obidos EC's Aloísio Martins got a free kick in the 30th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Obidos EC's zone, Dé Hermes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hortêncio Soeiro came out of the goal and Dé Hermes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hortêncio Soeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastião Meira, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 40th minute, Obidos EC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sebastião Meira fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Albertinho Monteiro scored 2-1 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Norberto Sabóia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The wind increased when Albertinho Monteiro made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edu Velasco during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A hard shot 59 in the game by Alan Rocha from a close distance when the talented Norberto Sabóia managed to make a qualified save. Himalaia SS's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Himalaia SS's Edu Velasco got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Moisés Leal, 63 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Himalaia SS's Dé Hermes got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 79thth minute of the game Albertinho Monteiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Himalaia SS's Norberto Sabóia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aloísio Martins's late challenge caught a Himalaia SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aloísio Martins helped the player get up and apologised. In the 84th match minute, Obidos EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aloísio Martins to maneuver through the defense. Dé Hermes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Himalaia SS's Guga Araújo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 91st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Obidos EC. Hortêncio Soeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastião Meira in the 92nd minute of play. Himalaia SS's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
