Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elder de Amaral in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ezequiel Castro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Elder de Amaral blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ezequiel Castro having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Breja AD's Alfredinho Peixoto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rodrigo Abraão. That made the score 1-0 after 27 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Breja AD's zone, Elder de Amaral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ezequiel Castro came out of the goal and Elder de Amaral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 39th minute, Cléberson Catarinense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfredinho Peixoto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Abraão having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zé Santos was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Ingaseiro's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredinho Peixoto came free, but Rodrigo Abraão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ezequiel Castro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elder de Amaral in the 83rd minute. 85 minutes into the game, Silvério de Amorim was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ingaseiro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Breja AD the free kick. After 85 played minutes Ingaseiro got a freekick which was hit by Silvério de Amorim. But to his dismay, Dedê Tande quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Breja AD fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ingaseiro had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
