Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Diamantino Breckenfeld started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 4 minutes into the game, Jeremias Quirino lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Carlos Alberto Gaspar. Diamantino Breckenfeld fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Alberto Reis having to interfere. Carlos Alberto Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diamantino Breckenfeld in the 9th minute of the match. Jeremias Quirino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Carlos Alberto Gaspar managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when Atlético Paranaense's Jeremias Quirino fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Atlético Paranaense booed when Pucuriu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilton Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diamantino Breckenfeld scored 1-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlos Alberto Reis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Jeremias Quirino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Luís Favoretto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlético Paranaense's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Favoretto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Alberto Gaspar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luís Favoretto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Carlos Alberto Gaspar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 48thth minute of the game Jeremias Quirino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pucuriu's Carlos Alberto Gaspar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jeremias Quirino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Patrício Bastos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carlos Alberto Reis made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Jacinto Goiano sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Pucuriu getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Tião Zanette hit a great ball. Yuri Novaes kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 75thth minute of the game Jeremias Quirino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pucuriu's Carlos Alberto Gaspar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jacinto Goiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Atlético Paranaense players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
